Plastik Comb Magazine Collaboration
Focuses: Collage, Publication Layout Design, Visual Language Systems
Process: Montclair State University’s Visual Communication Design Club was invited to work directly with print publication Plastik Comb Magazine (https://www.plastikcombmag.com/) on their second issue. The group designed spreads and an opener for an interview with artist and designer Kareem Rizk (kareemrizk.com). Taking inspiration from Plastik Comb’s scrappy style, the group and I designed spreads that reflected the content of Rizk’s interview as well as the visual language of his collage work.
